Both Duran Duran and Black Sabbath came from Birmingham, England, and now the second-largest city in the U.K. has another claim to fame. The Destination Star Trek Birmingham convention will host the world premiere of What We Left Behind: Looking Back at Star Trek: Deep Space Nine on October 20.

The Indiegogo-funded film has been years in the making. Director Ira Steven Behr and producer David Zappone will be on hand to unveil their movie — in addition to an impressive array of Deep Space Nine cast members who participated in the documentary. That list of actors includes Nana Visitor, Armin Shimerman, Rene Auberjonois, Alexander Siddig, Terry Farrell, Michael Dorn, Cirroc Lofton, Vaughn Armstrong, Chase Masterson, Casey Biggs, Jeffrey Combs, Andrew Robinson, Max Grodenchik, Aron Eisenberg, Robert O'Reilly and Nicole de Boer. Phew!

As an added bonus, there is a Being William Shatner Party the night before.

What We Left Behind is currently available for pre-order on Blu-Ray and DVD at DS9documentary.com
