A virtual reality Star Trek game is finally coming in May

Ever wanted to command the Enterprise? Well now you can with the new virtual-reality game Star Trek: Bridge Crew. The release date has already been pushed back twice — it was originally scheduled for November 2016. Parent company Ubisoft and developers Red Storm Evetertainment have now slated Bridge Crew for release on PlayStation VR, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift on May 30th. 

Players will be able to play solo or with up to four other players. The missions will be story-driven and randomly-driven quests, ensuring a unique experience every time. You can play as the captain, a tactical officer, engineering officer or helm officer. Which chair would you want to take? 

While you wait for the release of Star Trek: Bridge Crew, you can watch your favorite tactical, engineering and helm officers on Star Trek: The Original Series every weeknight at 8pET on H&I.
